A reason to return

Starting is one challenge. Wanting to return is another.

Knowing the plan is not always enough to make the next workout feel inviting. Runes gives every session a destination in the story as well as in your training — and when life interrupts, nothing is lost. No streaks, no penalties: the journey waits.

How it works

The story only moves when you do.

Every guided workout is an episode: coaching and walk/run intervals with the adventure playing as you move. You can’t binge it — finish a workout and two things happen: your training plan takes a step toward 5K, and the next chapter unlocks.

The reason you run again

The story opens as you move

Every run unlocks more of the world.

Follow Eleanor from London onward — the journalist whose article sparked Phileas Fogg’s wager, now chasing it alongside you. The route circles the globe, chapter by chapter, back to where it began. Finish workouts to reach new stops, add the people and belongings you meet to your Codex, and arrive back in London running 5K.
